We, Selfless Solutions
At Selfless Solutions, our purpose is to empower individuals and organizations worldwide to improve the quality of life for themselves and/or the communities they serve. We do this work because it is our belief that each and every person deserves a legitimate opportunity to provide for themselves and those they love, and to life a life full of peace and joy.
We aim to empower individuals and organizations with the resources and human capital needed to address issues locally and sustainably. From fundraising to management consulting to volunteer support, we are committed to co-creating organizations and systems built around the notion that every individual should be able to meet their basic needs and have an equal opportunity to become their most fully realized self. We hope to use our work in Tanzania as a template that can be applied throughout the African continent and potentially beyond.
Specifically, Selfless Solutions provides resources, expertise, and support services to collaboratively create, implement, and manage projects which further our organizational purpose and passion outlined above. Ultimately, our goal is to become a one-stop support network for projects across the globe, and to continuously find, create, and implement solutions to communities’ most important issues.
Our story
While volunteering in Tanzania in the fall of 2018, Pat Irwin felt inspired by the drive and commitment of local residents to improve the lives of their communities. Yet their initiatives were often plagued by challenges that prevented them from achieving their goals fully.
Having recognized several common areas of need, he decided to establish Selfless Solutions as a bridge connecting these communities with advocates from developed countries who could help address these and create solutions together. Selfless Solutions started its existence in early 2019 with the registration of the organization by Pat Irwin in the State of Pennsylvania in the United-States of America.
In 2018 Fabien Dondey was volunteering in Tanzania at the same time as Pat Irwin, encountered the same reality as Pat and also wanted to support the development of local communities. The great friendship between them was sealed with climbing of Mount Kilimanjaro. When Fabien Got back home in France, the idea of establishing Selfless Solutions in France grew up. After the registration of Selfless Solutions in the USA, Fabien started Selfless Solutions France in early 2020.
In the early 2022, Selfless Solutions got established in Tanzania and Selfless Solutions France got regrouped under the name of Selfless Solutions Europe with being legally registered in Denmark.
Our Vision and Mission
Selfless Solutions envisions a world in which each person can adequately meet his/her basic needs and has an equal opportunity to become his/her fullest self. We work toward this goal by empowering like-minded organizations with resources, knowledge, and support. Then, we partner with them to co-create projects and systems that further our shared vision.
Our Core Values

4. The word “can’t” IS NOT in our vocabulary. We have faith in the power of people, so we see difficult problems as welcome and solvable challenges.

A Letter From Our Founder
When I was working as a volunteer in Tanzania in the fall of 2018, I was inspired by the numerous individuals and projects that were dedicated to improving the well-being of their communities despite their circumstances. However, these efforts were often disjointed and lacked the resources and knowledge necessary to fully achieve their goals.
I realized that these issues were not unique to Tanzania, but prevalent among social enterprises everywhere. That is why I decided to create Selfless Solutions, to equip individuals and organizations with the resources, knowledge, and support necessary to produce effective change.
It is my desire that Selfless Solutions becomes a vehicle through which like-minded individuals and organizations can connect, share ideas, and work together to make the world a better place.
I firmly believe that many of the problems facing the world today are rooted in our inability as individuals, organizations, countries, etc. to look outside of our own immediate needs and problems, so that we are unable to fully understand the effects our actions have on the larger world to which we are all connected.
I also believe that as a whole we can, and are, learning to look outside ourselves more and more with each passing year. And by doing so, and sharing what we have with others, especially those who are most in need, we can all become part of the solution, a Selfless Solution.
