Intern in Tanzania
Interns will work alongside Selfless Solutions staff members in Arusha, Tanzania where they will to assist us in improving the quality of life of the communities we work with. Not only will interns be directly and meaningfully contributing to making the world a better place, but they will also gain firsthand experience with international development work and acquire new professional skills. Internship positions are open to anyone, but are especially geared toward university students and young professionals.
Although we are sure that interns will have an incredible experience, please note that the primary focus of Selfless’ internship programs is to further the mission and vision of our projects, as well as those of our partner organizations. Therefore, our positions are not a good fit for those who are simply looking to travel or to be on holiday. If this is your only motivation, then it is probably best if you look elsewhere for your internship. Project Management
Interns will work under one of Selfless Solutions’ project managers in Arusha, Tanzania to further the goals of Selfless’ projects, as well as the organization as a whole. They will engage in tasks such as monitoring day-to-day milestones and project progress, designing and executing project improvements, and engaging with beneficiaries and other community stakeholders to create new programs.
Assistant Director
Interns will be placed in the field at the Faraja Center in Arusha, Tanzania where they will work with the Assistant Director. They will engage in tasks such as monitoring day-to-day milestones and project progress, designing and implementing new marketing strategies and materials, and preparing reports to be sent to current funders.
